Who: Sam and Ruby, open to others! When: Early Evening Where: TARDIS kitchen What: Cooking french fries. What else would they be doing? >_> LOL Rating: Pg-13 Status: Open/ Incomplete
French fries and other greasy goodies had not been around when Ruby was a human, innocent girl, but in modern times, she had to admit, she abused the privilege constantly. She possessed no fear of weight gain or any of those silly human hang ups. No, she freely enjoyed life's bad temptations eagerly and hopefully tonight, not alone. Her favorite little hunter was scheduled to show up any minute and she oddly and very undemonic like, bounced around the kitchen. Why was she happy? Like stupid teenager love drunk? It had to be Samuel Winchester, her potential weakness and hesitant lover. Oh, but why? If she could just figure it out, maybe she could turn it off. She said 'maybe' because despite her complaints, Ruby found herself hating the feeling less and less. What kept her going on the track of evil? Daddy dearest, of course! Only his hold over her, his daughter, was more powerful than the human's hold on her seemingly invisible heart.
Dumping the package of frozen fries in the pan, she started them sizzling gleefully and took out the beers. Technically, this was the first time she had made dinner for Sammy and herself. It was weird, but oddly normal. She rather liked it. When the fries were a crispy, golden brown color, she dumped them on a huge plate, got out the ketchup and sank down in one of the open seats around the table. "Oh, don't leave me hanging, Sammy," she whined playfully to no one. Instead, she leaned over and switched on the radio, putting it to a channel with all those old rock tunes she had learned the boys loved above all else. She was not a huge fan, but just to be hearing anything, but screaming was a blessing in her book. She leaned on the palm of her hand and stared at the door, willing the demon hunter walk through and give her that smile and those puppy eyes. Ruby had missed him.
