Donna had been tossing and turning most of the night. She'd been feeling more odd as time went on, but she didn't tell anyone. There were things popping up in her brain that she didn't know how she knew them. It was all fuzzy, and she felt awful, but still she didn't say anything. She just went to lie down and soon fell asleep. The dreams had started pleasant enough, nothing out of the ordinary. And then they started to change. She was in the control room, she knew that much. Everything was on fire.
The whole TARDIS seemed to be bursting into flames. Things were popping and Donna just knew somehow that the TARDIS was being melted. She didn't know much more than that. Other than that she was on her hands and knees. There was a glowing light, and that sound. A heartbeat. And a hand in a jar. What the hell was that. Donna reached out to touch the hand all in a panic. She couldn't breathe. Gold swirled through her and then...
Wham!
She woke up with a yelp and clutched at her chest. Her heart was beating a million miles an hour. A bit panicky, and with her head aching like she'd never thought before, she stumbled out into the hall to get air. All she wanted was to make it somewhere. Just relief. She didn't know where she was going. To the console room, even with all the weird things she was feeling. She wanted to make sure that it wasn't on fire.
"Oi, let me in.." she pounded on the door to the console room, fighting the ache in her chest and in her head.
