Pulling open the next set of cabinet doors, the female vampire leaned up and peered inside with hopeful brown eyes. A frustrated sigh escaped past her lips when once more her search for intoxication came up empty once more. "Seriously? No alcohol on this thing? It has everything else," she slammed the wooden doors shut again and moved to the next set. The place was huge after all and it could be anywhere. Besides, there was always the off chance that Katherine was not looking in the right place to begin with. She bent down and pulled them open, a pleased smirk formed on her lips at the sight of a rather large bottle before her. She reached in eagerly and pulled it out, studying the label curiously before deciding it was wine. Oh well. It was alcohol wasn't it?
Not even bothering with glass, Katherine popped the cork and took a long drink out of the opening. As a vampire, it took a while for her to get rather drunk and besides she was feeling hungry. Hopefully, the alcohol would curve the cravings for the moment. While she was aware there was at least one other vampire here-Damon-she wouldn't be surprised if there were other beings, possible hunters and the like that wouldn't hesitate to stick a stake in her heart. Hence, she had to be careful or, at least, mildly so for the time being. It was frustrating because stupid, dumb vampire Damon and to go and tell innocent, cute Damon everything that would happen. There went her free meal. Human Damon would never share her secret; she never had to compel him to forget because he was obsessed with her from the beginning. He loved her like he said. Stupid, silly humans, always dying for love.
Pouring a good portion of it in a recently emptied water bottle (her work of course), she headed back to her room. It would work for now, but really, a starved vampire was not pretty.
