"That doesn't really make sense," Adam mused, grinning. "Cellular regeneration is becoming quite popular, you know. With all the other powers emerging, there's bound to be more of us."
"Fascinating," he said, glancing around again.
"You have my sympathy," Adam said. He stretched again, and climbed to his feet. A clinking sound drew his attention and he looked down to see the chain he always carried with his wedding rings. He smiled as he picked it up and slipped it into his pocket. He was glad he still had that.
