Adam nodded, hoisting himself up into a seated position and stretching. So this man had powers, too. "Yes," he said. "We're rare, but we exist. I think there's a cheerleader somewhere in the American South that has the same power."
He raised an eyebrow. "It isn't a pick up line," he said. "But not looking like the Carp is indeed a compliment."
