Chummy gave a nervous laugh as she shook his head. "Gosh, very charming." She smiled. "Come in, have a seat. I'll take the bowl. Did you enjoy your film?"
Trixie nodded. "We did, it was wonderful, like you said." She crossed to the playpen set up near the couch and leaned over. "How have you been? Has this little fellow been good for mummy?"
Chummy smiled. "A dear, of course."
Trixie picked up Freddie and tickled his stomach. "Good boy. Do you want to meet Frank, darling? Yes, let's say hello." She carried the baby over to him. "Frank, this is Freddie Noakes, the most important man in my life. He's an absolute pet."
