Who: Mark and Roger Where: Their rooms What: Teasing When: After Mark and Juliet's picnic Warnings: None
Mark wandered around in a sort of daze for the rest of the day. Even after Juliet left, he hadn't believed it was actually happening. Juliet Darling liked him. Enough to kiss him - which she'd never done with anyone else. She was really sweet, and beautiful, and he liked spending time with her more than he would have imagined. She wasn't at all like he'd assume she would be.
He needed to think, because there was a part of him worrying about how it would work. She was used to such a different life. He was sure she'd think differently about a lot of things, just because of the life she had lived. Could they work it out? He might be overthinking a little.
Of course, he was avoiding his room a bit. He knew Roger would be dying to talk to him, his look as they left had made that very clear. But he couldn't avoid it forever, and so he eventually made his way back. He took a deep breath before letting himself in.
"Hey," he called, trying to sound completely calm about everything. He wasn't sure if it worked or not.
