"Klaus, you sly old dog!" He grinned widely and clapped him on the shoulder. "At your age? When do I get to meet your children?" he added, tipping his head and studying him. He loved the idea of Klaus, happily married, with children. It made it easier to accept the time difference. He could just focus on that, and not worry about what the future held for him.
