Kitana was accustomed to a life with pleasant lies that turned to bitter, sour and hateful truths. She also knew that not everything appeared as it truly was. That even inanimate objects could deceive and fool. But people? After all she had been through, she wasn't entirely sure who to trust any more. She didn't know what her future would have held for her, had her life carried on as normal. But she knew that she wanted to get away from this ship and back to that life, no matter what the cost.
"I'll find ways to keep busy" she said, casting her gaze away. She could train and make sure she was ready for the day she did return to her home world. But other than that? She had no idea what she'd do. This place was so vastly different to her own. She could learn about it all, she supposed. Learn the best escape routes and hidden places.
"Would you mind staying in here with me for the night?" she asked. She hated asking. She felt like a child, but really she just wanted the company. She wasn't afraid, far from it. But sometimes, the company made her nightmares easier to cope with.
