He'd almost given up understanding how it worked, these tears in reality that Elizabeth created. And now... now he didn't have a clue. Lighthouses? Hundreds upon thousands of them, each representing another world. It was starting to make his head ache. But he would do what he had to, to make Elizabeth safe. He walked forward, feet splashing slightly on the damp wood, and reached to push open the door.
Light was the first thing he noticed. Light and a faint humming. He gripped his shotgun, ready for anything, and looked around. It was... a hallway, unlike anything he'd ever seen. Almost as strange as that underwater city. But this... well, at least it wasn't Columbia. "Elizabeth?" he said gruffly. "Where are we?"
