Who: Bilbo and Thorin When: Teatime, of course What: Tea! With seed-cakes. And scones. And jam. And whatever else a hungry hobbit fancies. Where: The kitchen Warnings: Hobbit with food. Thorin with his asshole problem.
Of course he could find the kitchen. It hadn't taken long for him to discover it, and he had made a point to memorize the route. He strolled down there easily and started tea. He started baking half a dozen seed-cakes, in case of company, as promised, and searched through the larder for things to stretch the meal. He found a few scones which he laid out on a plate, and a jar of raspberry jam.
He settled at the table, nibbling at a scone while he waited for Thorin. The King Under the Mountain did not have to be punctual if he did not care to. Besides, the seed-cakes weren't quite ready, so it would be best if Thorin was delayed. Bilbo took his duties as a host seriously, and would hate to be unprepared, even using someone else's kitchen, with equipment he wasn't familiar with.
