It was the singing that caught her attention before the sounds of ringing metal. Whenever she heard music on the ship it was usually from a music player, or someone singing a few drunk tunes on the karaoke machine. This music sounded to genuine to be from a player and it was clearly not being sung by someone drunk. The metal clinging was also a new sound, even by way of the ship, it was too regular and heavy to be mechanic.
Both were reasons why Sonya followed the music and sounds and found her way to a heated room..no..a forge. She'd only really seen one when staying in Edenia, but there were too many similarities for it to not be one.
She didn't even blink when she saw a dwarf instead of a man at the fire. Truth be told, there was something oddly comforting seeing a 'non human' on the ship, something that reminded her of home.
Sonya remained where she was, recognizing a master at work and not wanting to disturb him.
