Ryotaro noticed Yuuto the moment he came into plain sight. And for a moment, he took everything in. The changes in his appearance, down to the barely traceable lines on his skin, born from worry or strife. Then there was the dirt and grime on his hands, the slight marks that weren't there before, burying themselves underneath the others fingernails. His clothing looked strange now, different, unlike anything Ryotaro knew, at least, some of it did. Other parts were more recognisable to the youth.
Yes, to Ryotaro, mere moments has passed since they last fought side by side, but seeing him now? The way he looked, created a long and drawn out distance between them that only closed the moment Yuuto moved in to hug him. Bringing his own arms up he returned the warm embrace and smiled. Maybe he smiled because this was so unexpected but in that moment, this simple action made him understand just how much was between them and how much their meeting really meant. At least, he understood on an emotional level, in a spiritual sense.
"Yuuto, I am glad it is you" he smiled. He didn't bother to try and break the hug. There was no need. He'd let Yuuto do that if he wanted to and when he wanted to. "There is much I want to ask but can we find the kitchen first, please? I think I would like to try and eat something" he admitted.
He was still tired, still worn out after everything he had been through and now he had just jumped into another universe. It had taken its tole on him. Both his body and his mind, and the overly enthusiastic Imagin were not helping. Maybe they were just glad to still have Ryotaro, or maybe they were glad they were still around, either way, they were being pests.
