Thankfully Phryne was a deceptively modern woman, for someone who was from the 1920s and 30s. Whichever it was. She shook his hand with a smile. She could tell that he wasn't from.. whatever time period most of the others were from, but she didn't know which.
"Oh the pleasure is all mine," she said sincerely. Phryne glanced around the library again and nodded. "It is the most peculiar thing. Not to mention that there are books about all sorts of things that I don't understand that have nothing to do with the language. Books about other planets and things. Amazing." There were so many books though she didn't really know where to start. "It's kind of nice actually. I was just hoping to find something to entertain myself with."
