He could distantly hear the man's voice, but he had more important things to worry about. The walls were melting, replaced by much more familiar stone. He yelped, trying to scurry backwards more, but he was already against the wall. No. That wasn't safe, not in the Castle. Nowhere was safe. He pulled himself to his knees and crawled forwards. Suits of armor stepped out from the wall, standing in silent accusation. Each held a sword larger than a lance, and on each one was impaled... a Jagermonster. His brothers and sisters. The nearest were close enough to name. Dimo. Ognian. Jenka. Gkika. Jorgi. He wailed, digging his claws into metal.
Suddenly the voice thundered around him. "THE JAGERKIN CANNOT BE TRUSTED. YOU HAVE FAILED THE FAMILY AND MUST PAY THE PRICE."
