The Master turned to the door. He heard it open... he heard a sharp inhale follow... Someone was there. Someone he didn't know. Or did he? The Master had been leaning his head against the wall while he tapped on the pipe. Sharply, he turned his head, pivoting it against the wall to direct his strange eyes towards the figure. No one came to see him... no one. She must have stumbled across him by accident. That was the only plausible explanation.
Moving away from the wall, he slowly approached her, looking at her as carefully as he could. The way time flowed around her, cut off and yet, moving in the strangest of manners. The only other thing he knew off that looked like that was the TARDIS itself... Oh now he was beginning to remember. The walking personification... it really was her. It had to be.
"Hello..." he said, somewhat lost for words. His fragility was starting to show. A broken, lost madman looking for something or someone he could talk to. Maybe this was the one... maybe she could help him become whole! "You know me, don't you?" he asked, squinting his eyes briefly. "Or do you?" he asked as he drew closer. "Don't be afraid..."
His mind spun... Inside he was as afraid as he looked. 'Not yet.... not yet.... Don't run. Don't leave me like this.... Do not make me hate you.... I have no one'
