Dan smiled at Mark's nervous smile, more to himself than anything, and started to walk with him. Had Mark dressed up for him? Dan wasn't sure but it looked like the man had at least tried. Dan on the other hand, well he wore what he usually wore. He changed his clothing slightly depending on a few things. Who he was meeting, what he wanted and how he wanted to be perceived. It was a all a bit of a game to Dan but that was when he was working. And right now he had been starved off employment and craved it. How he missed his job... At least he had alcohol.
The streets were busy with people of all shapes and sizes, some looking human, others looking monstrous. Dan had never seen anything like it in his life and he was pretty sure that Mark hadn't either. It was like a bad acid trip. Each stall was covered in a rainproof tarp, various coloured cloths hanging from them for decoration. Some were harsh and others, inviting, enticing. The signs were readable thanks to the TARDIS's effect on them all, but none of it made any sense.
"Should just be along here" Dan said with a nod. He had kept a mental note of things that stood out so he could find his way around. It wasn't easy but at least the bar hadn't been far on his first trek.
