Matilda frowned, then realized that the England he was talking about must be futuristic. She had the sense-or was it self preservation-not to correct him.
"Bye." She waved back, not sure what to make of the boy. He didn't seem harmful, but this was a new time and place and like most children her age she was more careful and wary about new places.
