"Yeah..." he trailed off. "You might, I mean, I dunno what's gonna happen around here" he said, sniffing again. "Guess you probably don't either" he added.
He stopped tapping the box on the table and turned it around, tugging a cigarette free. He knew he shouldn't. He had just had one, but he was stressed and he didn't have the crystal to turn to anymore. Of course he knew he could probably cook with what was around in the clinic... Not just there though. Jesse knew what he was doing. But he wasn't going back to that life. He had got away, now he had to stay away.
"Hey, maybe we'll get to see some cool things in your universe" he said, trying to sound hopeful. "I mean, you're probably at like... some sorta advantage here. What with it being your universe 'n' all" he shrugged. Placing the cigarette between his lips, he lit it. Closing his eyes, he inhaled deeply, drawing the smoke into his lungs. It was a comfort. At least something was.
