Jesse watched her as she described her old home. He wondered how long she had been away from it and why she had to go but these things always came with very harsh reasons.
"Sounds really beautiful" he replied, trying his best to force a smile. "I was out near the desert" he said, looking down at the table, his hand sliding away from his neck. He pulled out his cigarettes and tapped the box on the table. "I mean it was real nice too. It had these like... landscapes that just went on and on... Like you could just walk and no matter where you went there wouldn't be anyone there" he said. "The city was different, that was busy, but it was big and open all around us. Sunsets were awesome" he laughed softly.
