A short while later Mark strolled into the bar, a very old, carved box under his arm. He wasn't sure where the chess set had come from, but it had obviously not been made in his century. He set it down almost reverentially and opened it, smiling at Dan. "Be gentle with the pieces," he cautioned. "I think this is an antique." He picked up the black king, carefully running a thumb over it. "Beautiful..."
