Mark was dressed with less care than usual. It didn't seem worth the bother here, truth be told. He generally kept even his casual clothes fairly neat. Now, in fact, he was wishing he'd stopped to change before coming in. It suddenly seemed quite a bit more important than it had in weeks. He shifted in his chair and picked up his fork.
"It certainly seems like it will be nice," he said softly, flashing a quick smile. "Thank you."
