The marked chill of the morning air sharpened Salazar's thoughts as he approached the entrance to St. James Park. Whilst he would never have imagined working with Gryffindor towards a common purpose again, he could not deny the temptation of Working magic on such a grand scale. His last opportunity to cast spells of power had been during the battle for the library, but combat magic, though heady, did not provide any lasting pleasure. To construct something out of nothing, now that promised greater, and lasting, pleasure.
A few milled around the inside of the park, even at the early hour. Salazar opted to remain near the entrance and to wait for Gryffindor's arrival, lest the Battle-Mage arrive and assume he had not had the 'courage' to meet with him, as if courage was the King of Virtues. Salazar smirked slightly as he observed the others. Godric Gryffindor was nothing if not predictable in his views.
No one approached, nor did he expect them to. They would not know him, and his clothes would clearly mark him as a man from a different era. But it suited him perfectly to be left alone, for he had much to think about. The conversation would require the full measure of his attention, if he was to receive what he wanted from the meeting.
And receive it, he would.
