The weather was surprisingly nice for a late November day. It had rained the day before, but when Harry and Ginny left their home for a little sight-seeing, the sky had been so clear that they have decided to have a little impromptu picnic in the outskirts of the City, by the Thames.
So far the couple spent an enjoyable time touring the more historical districts of the Nexus, oogling at petticoats and horse-drawn carriages.
Harry had planned to show Ginny the dwelling of Godric Gryffindor, after their meal, as if they were common tourists, and perhaps end their day visiting their daughter.
Harry was humming the Hollyhead Harpies' anthem while taking out the carefully wrapped packages from the picnic basket. Ginny had excused herself to hunt for a washroom, and he surprised himself by fingering his wand nervously, as if a boy on his first date.
Distance do make one fonder, Harry supposed, and Ginny did look years younger, not that she wasn't beautiful at 70, either.
