Who: Ginny and Harry. When: Shortly after Ginny's arrival in the Nexus. Where: Hedwig House. Why: Ginny's arrived, and they have a lot of catching up to do. Rating: PG? Less Ginny's mouth runs away with her. Status: Closed/Incomplete.
After immediately appearing in the Nexus, Ginny had taken a moment to collect herself in the closest café. She’d taken the time needed to read over the letter sent to her by Poppy several times and to slowly get a bare idea of who all was here. The last thing she needed was to be walking down the street, see one of her dead brothers, and then faint of all things. No, she needed to have much more composure than that.
Once she was certain that she had everything (mostly) under control, she glanced over the quick description Harry had left her of where their house was now located before leaving. Really, this place – while bizarre in many ways – was rather fascinating. It was not quite London, but it wasn’t quite anything, really. It was obviously the Nexus’s own little creation in hopes of making all of its inhabitants happy.
That almost made the Nexus sound alive. But really, something had to be for them all to have ended up here, right?
She could see the evidence of the battle that she had heard about up one of the streets in the distance. She wasn’t dumb enough to go check it out, but it did make her worry. Her dear Lily was here… the last thing she wanted was for her daughter to be caught up in some century long war.
The moment that she stepped into the right neighborhood, she spotted Hedwig House. It was its own character entirely and stuck out amongst the rest of the London homes. Ginny smiled fondly. Even though she had been there a little over two hours ago, it was still nice to see a familiar place. Never one to be cautious to walk into her own home (even when Jamie had gone through the phase in which he tried to catch one of his parents off guard with his pranks), she stepped in without a knock or warning.
“Harry?” she called out as she closed the door behind her.
