The mad tea party
Who: Harry Potter, Order of Phoenix members plus guests, potential party crashers Why: Order meeting to discuss plan of action Where: Harry's home on Waterman's Walk When: Friday evening Rating: General (for the moment) Status: Open/Incomplete
Harry Potter woke up early on Friday, and began his day by paying a visit to his little garden, as per habit. The tomatoes where growing well, and the pumpkins were ready for Halloween. The old man liked to tend to things himself, though he was used to the handy help of house elves, and acquired the service of one a week after he arrived. There was something soothing to menial household tasks that will generate no more evil that a bit of mess when one doesn't perform up to pair.
Harry looked out to the setting sun that covered the river with gold, and adjusted his spectacles again. It was most annoying to have both myopia and presbyopia at the same time. The Man Who Lived grinned with sincere pleasure. The guests should be arriving soon. Was everything ready?
The narrow hallway leading to the basement opened up at Harry's wand's touch, and he began touring it, counter-clockwise. To make some last verification of the spellwork, and to reinforce the anti-apparition wards.
Plinky, the house elf, had orders to bring guests to the little parlour and serve refreshment, if anyone was to surprise him with an early arrival.
