Narcissa had been in a good mood ever since her realization with Severus and today was no exception. She actually had a smile on her face as she walked down a random hallway, fresh from Potion's class. She had done very well on her classwork that day, receiving a compliment from Professor Slughorn and adding five points to the Slytherin House. Tomorrow was the Quidditch game against Hufflepuff and then Hogsmeade! The smile only grew as she thought about the plan with Bellatrix and being able to see her sister again. She just had to make sure Severus didn't go near the attack point. She was sure he would mourn her for a little bit, but she would be there to comfort him and help him forget his little mudblood friend.
She moved past the other students, not paying anyone else any mind. She was almost in her own world until she noticed a familiar flop of black hair. The smile lessened and her eyes narrowed as she remembered how he had stood her up. She had almost forgotten with all the other events that had happened, but she had not liked the way she had waited around for him only to be forgotten. Was it a little prank he wanted to play with her? What was it exactly? She had to admit that he had seemed strange through the journals, although she had never actually seen him in person. Truthfully she kept as far away from him as possible. Still, her good mood put her in a more curious state than furious. Biting her lower lip, she decided for following him and possibly confronting him on the matter.
As he turned away from the Gryffindor Tower, she followed closely behind, thankful that the crowd of students were beginning to thin. Even if the conversation went well, she didn't want many people see her conversing with her traitor cousin. Still, she was able to catch up to him in a deserted hallway, almost cornering him by a suit of armor.
"So it seems you forgot our little date," she said, walking up to him with a smirk on her face. "Tell me Sirius, is this some kind of game you're playing? Because I will not be made a fool of."
