"I think it'd be better to take him upstairs," Remus said. Other students would be coming in and out of the common room soon, as they made their way down to breakfast and to their classs. Remus didn't want prying eyes on Sirius. "That's where we'll be."
That said, he felt Sirius start to cling to him and a wet warmth on his shirt. "It's okay, Padfoot," he whispered, and shifted so that the other boy's arm was around his shoulders and he could brace him up. "We're just going to go to bed, all right?" Remus avoided James and Lily's gazes, not wanting to meet either of them. He just needed to get Sirius to bed. The two staggered up the steps; Remus wasn't the strongest as a human, but he managed to get Sirius upstairs one step at a time.
The two moved on to their dorm room, and Remus opened the door to let them in. He walked them to Sirius' bed, and helped him down into it. "You'd probably be more comfortable in your pajamas, wouldn't you? I'll get them." He let go of Sirius and moved to the other's trunk, opening it to fish out some more comfortable clothing for Sirius.
