Peter was not exactly stupid, however he was -- at times, like these-- incredibly gullible and naive; he took what was said and done at face value, rarely ever stopping to question what motive might be forcing the words, or a certain act.
As it was, he was eating up everything that Amycus had to say, and his next words gave Peter pause, expression falling as he looked at the Wizard. His lips had tugged down in a frown, and he shifted in his seat.
"I--if...it was fine with you...we--" Oh Merlin, what was he saying? Peter felt so unsure of himself, where he stood, and what value his words would hold to Amycus Carrow...
"Could be friends. I'm no Molly Prewett, but...well, I would always be willing to t--tell off someone like Avery..."
