Adelaide was almost disturbed how easily it was that she fell into a comfortable routine with Dominic. It was like their years of teasing and playful banter were turning into fond memories and they had moved on to a new step in their relationship. Perhaps there had always been some kind of attraction between themselves at the time, the teasing hiding something all together.
Dominic was her first real boyfriend. She had never taken to any other member of the opposite sex before, thinking it a waste of her time. Those that she might have been interested in didn't look at her in the same way and she just convinced herself that it was better that way. Less distractions. But with Dominic's arm around her shoulders, she was beginning to wonder why she had not wanted this sooner.
She raised an eyebrow at what he said, shaking her head. She wasn't sure if she really wanted to know what he was going to say, so it was better left unanswered. "Well, I suppose if you're sure it would be alright with your roommates..." The thought brought a strange twist in her stomach. Since she had never been with another boy before she had never done anything of the intimate nature. She knew (or more heard) that boys only had one thing on their mind...could that be true for Dominic as well?
Now wasn't the time to think of such things. She rolled her eyes but laughed. "Oh, certainly not my dear! You are far from being a fool." She grinned up at him before staring back out at the path in front of them, leaning into his arm a little. "But there is the matter of the stairs to think about you know. Unless you know the spell to make them not turn into a slide?"
