Riona&Gilderoy
Riona nodded her head in thought. Sirius and James did have a tendency to cause problems. She knew they just wanted to have fun, but this wasn't the place for it. "Well, I suppose we can only hope they behave so we don't have to worry about it," she said. "Although spoken like a true Prefect Gil. The responsibilities never cease do they?" She gave him a teasing smile, wondering what else could be going through his mind at the moment.
"Age is such an important matter to them?" she asked. "What is the age difference of your parents? If it's not too bold to ask." She had never understood the age restrictions pureblooded families placed on marriage. Why was it so proper for a younger witch to marry a wizard so much older for her?
"Well, being an eligible bachelor, I think you should use this opportunity to meet more young witches," she said. "Come, you can dance me around the ballroom and every witch will wish to have a dance with you. You've always been very sociable, I'm sure you'll have no problem meeting new people here." She patted his hand but made no move to get up and leave. She would let him choose when he wanted to go or if he wanted to be left alone. There was something else behind the tone of his voice and she was there if he needed to vent.
