She moved into the room, taking the seat that he had silently offered. "I needed some air," she said truthfully. "There are a lot of people here tonight. Some I'm surprised to see. Potter and his friends for one of them. I didn't think they would show up to such a prestigious event. They never seemed to care for such things before." She gave a small shrug. It was nice to see Sirius, but she didn't dare do anything in public. While she may still consider him a friend, she knew her parents would be even more disappointed if she made a public admittance to still being in communication with him. It made her feel strange, pretending not know him, keeping their friendship a secret. She was no better then any of the other Slytherin's.
"Amycus is fine, I'm sure," she said with a smile. "I did not see you enter with any lovely date of your own. Did you come with your family?"
