Dominic/Adelaide
It was strange to have such relief flow through Adelaide when she heard he wasn't serious about Alecto. She shook her head when he asked her about her own romantic preferences. "No one," she said. "I've never been the most sociable girl. I still don't really understand why you quite fancy me now. Not that I'm against it! It's...just new to me." She wondered if she would ever be able to be comfortable in a relationship that involved feelings. She had always been so emotionally cut off from everyone around her, it was hard to admit it to herself, let alone the person who had brought them out.
"There was a mess between Amycus and Alecto?" She raised an eyebrow. She did not know the sister or brother duo, although she was looking forward to her endeavors with the brother. Was that something that needed to be told to Dominic? Well, not now. She would later, when they were back at school. She had a feeling there was much for them to discuss that she didn't want to delve into now.
"Well, I guess this teaches you your lesson. If you would like the girl to be your date, you need to ask straight away." She smiled, her hands moving up to his and moving them off her shoulders, holding them in front of them.
"Shall we go back inside then?" she asked, knowing once they did, they would have to pretend like everything outside had not happened. She frowned at the idea, listening to the music and laughter from outside.
An idea came to her and she looked up at Dom, a small smirk playing on her features. "Or perhaps we could share a dance out here?"
