Remus couldn't help but smile. He held Sirius' hands and looked at him with loving eyes. He knew Sirius hadn't been the most committed when it came to his romances in the past. Flings were more of his specialty. But Remus hoped that he felt differently this time -- he didn't think Sirius had ever confessed his love to someone before. Something in his heart told him that this was far different.
"I'm not worried about your track record, Sirius," he said quietly. He squeezed his hands and continued to smile at him. "What we have is ours, and on one else's. What's past is past. It doesn't have anything to do with us." He let go of one of his hands so he could reach his hand up and hold it to Sirius' cheek. "Right? Just you and me. Moony and Padfoot."
