Remus followed the other boy over to the blanket and sat down beside him. If he hadn't known better, he would have sworn that Sirius seemed a little nervous as he spoke. How could that be? Sirius was always the cool one, never flustered or out of step. He was charming and collected, perfectly put together. At the moment, though, he seemed almost more nervous than Remus felt.
He placed a gentle hand over top of Sirius' hand and leaned over to place a kiss on his shoulder. "You tempt me enough as it is, Padfoot," he said softly, and nuzzled his shoulder before drawing back. "Here." He started putting some of the food on plates for them both, to try to give Sirius a chance to relax and take a breath.
