Dominic nodded slightly, brow creasing just slightly. He did not doubt the honesty of Anycus' however it bothered him all the same; Dominic did not have that -- he never would with his mother or father -- and yet... "It's nice then. No doubt you're going to great lengths to keep her safe and happy."
The other question had him pausing all over again. Was Dominic showing too much, being too open about this matter? He did not know, though Dominic did not like how perceptive the other Wizard was being right now. Catching some bits and pieces, and dropping others.
"Well...the rumors, about the Dark Lord and that group the Death Eaters. They sort of distracted me." Honesty, the best way to go when it came to attempting to win the trust of someone. He did not believe he could, but perhaps Amycus would give him the benefit of the doubt.
Worry eased as he found himself grinning, shifting just enough so that he had a better view of the wizard. Arching one brow, his lips curved up higher. "Such as, Amycus?"
