"Some people take issue with the fact that Alecto and I discuss everything," Amycus said with a shrug. He didn't care what anyone thought to be honest and he went to great pains at times to make sure that others knew it.
He allowed himself to glare a bit at Dominic's chuckle despite the fact that he didn't really feel any anger at the other man. It was an act like so much else when he was with other people.
"Wanted to?" he asked, lifting one eyebrow as he took a sip of his drink. He lit another cigarette and sat silently smoking for a few minutes before continuing, "You no longer wish to hurt him? And why haven't either of you included me in your conversations about it? I haven't gone to any great lengths to hide my distaste for him these days," he asked, feigning annoyance.
"People underestimate how powerful knowledge is, I believe," he said mildly. "And I want to gain as much power as I can," he added. "And what do you assume of me Dominic?" he asked honestly curious, unwilling to give his opinion of Dominic first.
