Amycus listened cautiously to Dominic's statements about Lucius, his face a mask of studied neutrality. While he didn't bother to hide his dislike of Lucius, he didn't exactly broadcast it either. He stood up and crossed over to the door, closing it and casting a simple silencing charm so that no one would hear anything as they passed by regardless of how loud he and Avery might talk.
He didn't have any reason to believe that either of them might say anything that could cause them trouble but it was better to be safe than sorry. He sat back down on Rabastan's bed, carefully weighing his response before speaking.
"For much the same reason as you honestly. I don't like the way he bullies some and takes advantage of them. It's only this past year that it's really gotten on my nerves to the point it is now," he said, taking a sip of his drink. "Do you trust me?" he asked, curious.
