"It's the perfect way to end some days," Amycus said taking a sip from his drink, enjoying the burn as it went down his throat. His father and grandfather might not approve of his choice of drinks but just like with so many other things he did, he couldn't bring himself to really care about their opinion. "If you'd like," he said, pleased that Dominic had picked up on his subtle invitation. There was definitely more to Dominic than he'd thought.
"Rodolphus does enjoy his little games at times," he said, his face darkening briefly at the memory of the trap that Rodolphus had left at his bedroom door. "I prefer to think that Rodolphus and I were equally at fault. We do know each other's buttons rather well," he said, forcing his voice to remain neutral.
