Rab couldn't help but chuckle. Am was right about one thing, you never got to close to Rodolphus when he was in a temper. He stopped it quickly though, he still wasn't sure how he felt about this, and forgiving Amycus so easily felt like he was betraying his brother. Who was he kidding though? He'd forgiven Am the moment he'd walked in the door and seen the blood on his hand. He could never stay mad at him, he just couldn't. But what did that mean? Had Am really been trying to antagonize Rodophus? Probably. Was Rodolphus being completely honest about the whole thing? Probably not. More likely they'd both been picking away at each other, throwing out little barbs and shots till they both snapped. Much as he wanted too he couldn't deny that both men had quite the temper. So what did he do now? Let it go. Of course. What else could he possibly do? He loved them both.
"He has a mean right hook," he said softly, turning to Am with a small smile, then resting his head against the taller boys shoulder. "It's best to stay out of range."
