Rabastan stared after Amycus as he stalked from the room, then turned his attention back to Rodolphus. He desperately wanted to know what he had whispered in Am's ear, but knew better than to ask. More than anything though he just wanted to go make sure Amycus was okay. He'd looked mangled, and Rabastan knew how ruthless his brother could sometimes be. He didn't though, instead he bent down and gathered the last of the glass shards from his brothers carpet and placed them carefully in the wastepaper basket. He then straightened and turned to look at Rodolphus.
"I-I don't know w-what he said," It couldn't have been bad enough to warrant a beating. I know it "B-but I'm s-sorry. I know you d-didn't want him to c-come."
