Remus had been too self aware of his own shyness and the reactions of his body to notice Sirius' 'problems.' He wouldn't have believed it if he had. Somehow, he would have rationalized that it was something else, that it couldn't possibly have anything to do with him. Why would Sirius harbor any of the same feelings he held for him? It wouldn't make a lick of sense, so there was no point in even wondering about it.
Really, he just wanted to stay close to him. His presence was the most soothing gift anyone could offer. "Much," he replied quietly. And he did feel better, despite the inner workings of his mind when it came to his feelings for Sirius. Slowly, he turned over onto his back and looked up at Sirius. He was so beautiful. "Thank you," he added, and smiled a bit.
