Remus started to protest when Sirius raised up, not wanting him to have to move too much too fast. Before he could, Sirius' arms were around him, and Remus couldn't fight that. He'd needed to feel that strength and assurance for weeks, just to know that Sirius was okay.
His own arms slid around Sirius and he closed his eyes. He didn't hold him quite so tightly, afraid he might hurt him after all his body had gone through. "You don't know how much it means to hear you say that," he said, quietly, with his face hidden in the crook of Sirius' neck. "Just knowing you believe that means everything to me."
