"You're right, that, well, painting is more than, you know, colors on canvas. But feelings and emotions are so varied, and I don't think there is ever a time when we as human beings aren't experiencing some form of them, even if it's just despondence." He grew more animated as he warmed to the topic, his hands began to move as he spoke and his eyes lit up. "And there's more than one way to paint. It doesn't have to look like anything that really exists, it's all about putting what's inside your heart onto the paper. There is no write or wrong way to do that. Anyone could paint, I think, if they wanted to badly enough."
He stopped, blushing suddenly as if just realizing how much he'd said.
