Lily looked through the books, smiling as she recognized some of her favorites. "Peter Pan," she said, her hand running over the cover. "I loved the book growing up. I always thought it would be amazing to fly like that. And then I was introduced to magic and found it was possible...on a broom, but still." She looked up at Remus, smiling. "I've always wanted to read The Odyssey, but never got around to it. Did you like it?" Fiction was definitely the right choice for Remus to bring. Fiction was easy to get lost in, to forget everything else that was going on around her. And that was exactly what she needed.
Remus made it very easy to fall into a natural, normal conversation. Even while the topic was always there, underlying everything they talked about, it was never brought into the light. He would make it very easy to get back into the swing of things.
