What happened to Lily was dreadful. He didn't even know what exactly it was that happened, he just knew he was grateful she was back. He'd kept his distance at first, as he wanted to give James all the time he needed with Lily. She was his friend too, though, and he really wanted to see her and see for himself that she was all right. At one point during the day, he saw that James was attending class so he figured it would be safe for him to go visit Lily.
Remus made his way to the hospital wing, shoulder bag slung over his arm. He didn't quite know what to expect, since he hadn't seen her since she'd returned. What he ended up finding, was Lily resting with her eyes closed. He wasn't sure if she was asleep, so he quietly put his bag down and sat in the chair next to the bed. He didn't want to wake her if she was sleeping, so he didn't say anything.
The tawny-haired boy sat in silence, waiting for Lily to either wake up or speak, depending on what state she was in. If she didn't want company, he'd leave. He just wanted her to know he was there for her and thinking of her. He knew she'd do the same for him.
