Amycus wasn't normally this affectionate with anyone except his sister. It wasn't that he was never affectionate with Cissy, but this level of contact with someone was far away from his normal behavior. He was leading them over towards the lake, fairly certain that there wouldn't be a lot of people there at this time.
He nodded at Cissy's comment about Severus being upset about what had happened. He didn't know the boy very well himself but even he'd noticed a change in his behavior. And if it had been obvious to him he could only imagine how much more so it must have been to Severus' friends. "I'm sorry that it's bothering him," he said, absently.
"Much better. Alecto and I made up Sunday. And I found a new project to occupy myself with," he said looking at her with a smile. He looked around where they were standing and grimaced. "I should have brought something for us to sit on." He wanted to talk with her about the situation with Lucius but he wasn't sure exactly where her relationship with him stood these days.
"There wouldn't have been a problem between us in the first place if it weren't for Lucius."
