Kidnapping
Rodolphus' smile cracked his face again. It really was a small wonder Bellatrix hadn't shoved him when she demanded he bring Lily back. "You're definitely going to be pandering to me again," he told her, unclasping his cloak from around his shoulders before making chase.
The streets of Hogsmeade were busy, filled with those who worked and shopped the village and of course the numerous Hogswarts students on field trip. Among them were enemies - if Lily Evans should cross even one of her friends who would easily recognize that shock of red hair his life would become monumentally more difficult. That knowledge only fueled his excitement. What use was cruelty if it went by unnoticed? What fun was a chase if it wasn't perilous for both predator and prey?
Years of athleticism served Rodolphus well as he quickly closed the distance to where where Avery, stupid, useless Avery, had lost their target. His eyes, alert with the thrill of the hunt, easily picked out the one particular figure that called out for him, taunted him as she moved through the small groups of Hogsmeade visitors daring him to catch her. Only once did he slip on a wayward patch of ice but he caught himself on the passing shoulder of a Hufflepuff and used him to propel forward in hot pursuit.
