Sirius sighed happily, enjoying the faint scent lingering around Remus' freshly washed hair. He would have been content to stay that way for hours, but his reverie was broken by the sound of some third year girls giggling their way up the hill.
Sirius pulled out of the embrace. He wasn't ashamed to been seen with Remus, but he wasn't sure how the other boy felt. And besides, he didn't want anyone else to witness what was an intimate moment just between them.
The girls had clearly never been to the shack before, and there was a nervous edge to their laughter. Sirius turned to Remus with a mischievious grin, then transformed into Padfoot. He raced at them, barking like mad, and was thrilled when they screamed and scattered like birds.
