Kidnapping
The meeting with Dominic had been interesting to say the least. Somehow she had been able to slip away from James and the others to meet up with him. As she had made her way to the Hogs Head, she still wasn't sure why she had agreed to do this. She had no information to provide for him and even if she did, would she really tell him? She had actually been interested in some kind of protection, but was ashamed to admit it. She was always strong and sure of herself, but with the recent events, she was beginning to feel a little vulnerable.
Their conversation wasn't even worth the butterbeer she had ordered. She was only able to take a sip before he had ushered her outside. She didn't think anything of it, but followed along, wondering if James had noticed her absence. She glanced over at him, wondering why he would thank her. It was a strange thing for him to say, especially since their conversation didn't really end up with anything.
"You're welcome?" she asked, but her eyes followed his as he looked around. She saw the other two in the distance and suddenly felt her stomach turn. She stopped walking, looking at Avery and hoping it wasn't what she thought. "Um, well I better be getting back," she said, feeling like she needed to get away from that place and fast.
